Bob Graham

Founding Member

Bob is a founding member of Norman Alan and has been with the company since its start in 2004.

Starting as a field technician in 1998, Bob worked his way up to senior technician. Today, Bob oversees Norman Alan’s daily operations, as well as working in sales, and assisting with remote and onsite support.

Customers rely on Bob for every aspect of IT. He installs systems, troubleshoots, deals with security issues, and makes system recommendations to help his customers’ businesses run more smoothly. He often takes pride in fixing the unfixable.

“I enjoy the interaction with my clients, some of whom I have known for close to 20 years. I am a very hands-on person and continue to enjoy the troubleshooting aspect of IT. I take customers’ problems personally and make sure issues are dealt with to everyone’s satisfaction.”

Bob attended Riverview High School in Oakmont (Class of 1993) and is an IUP graduate with a degree in Computer Tech (1998). He has Microsoft MCP and A+ certifications.

Bob has been married to his wife Jen for 18 years. They have 3 boys, Noah, 16, Parker, 14, and Reno, 12.

The Grahams are a hockey family and spend a lot of time at the rink playing for school leagues and travel leagues. Bob helps coach the school leagues. He is also an avid woodworker and enjoys spending time in his shop. Now that the kids are growing a bit, Bob’s wife Jen has taken the opportunity to go back to school and open a salon.

Jeff Kochis

Founding Member

Jeff is a founding member of Norman Alan and has been with the company since its start in 2004.

He started out as a field technician in 1995 and worked his way up to a senior technician. Today, Jeff oversees daily operations in sales and human resources.

Customers rely on Jeff to make sure that lines of communication stay open and that each customer is taken care of properly and in a timely fashion.

“I take great satisfaction in helping organizations that have unstable computer systems or are being taken advantage of by another IT company and turning things around and providing them with a stable solution, saving them money, and creating a lifetime relationship.”

Jeff is a 1990 graduate of Mt. Pleasant Area High School and a 1995 graduate of ICM School of Business. His certifications include Novel CNE, Microsoft MCSE and HP ASE.

Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Emily and their three children, Owen, Claire, and Dominic.


Service Center Manager

Todd is our Service Center Manager

With Norman Alan since 2005, Todd holds the job of Electronics Specialist today, but he has taken on many roles along the way. His focus is repairing PCs that are brought in to be repaired in our in-house shop.

“One thing I pride myself on is being able to completely disassemble a piece of equipment such as a laptop and reassemble it perfectly, with never an extra part left over when job is finished!”

After High School, Todd spent 6 years in the Navy as an Avionics Electronics Technician. After serving, he went into the computer field repairing printers and monitors and eventually working on PCs.

In Todd’s off time, his passion is off road motorsports, mainly motocross.


Remote Support Manager

Will is our Remote Support Manager.

With Norman Alan since 2010, Will manages the remote support team and oversees server monitoring, as well as handling escalated tickets.

Customers rely on Will to handle the toughest problems quickly and effectively.

“I have been doing IT since my parents scraped money together for a PC in the early 90s. They were dismayed to find me dismantling it the next day. It sparked a lifelong interest in technology and problem solving. I am proud to say that I help people solve problems every day. We solve the world’s problems, one computer at a time.”

Will is from Murrysville, PA and graduated from Franklin Regional High School. He attended Penn State University where he acquired a bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences and Technology in 2004.


Remote Support Technician

Jon is one of our Remote Support Technicians.

On the job with Norman Alan since 2011, Jon’s primary focus is diagnosing and correcting computer and network systems in a timely manner using remote support technology.

With over a decade of experience in the Information Technology field, customers rely on Jon’s ability to recognize problems and troubleshoot them efficiently, saving endless hours of downtime and aggravation.

“I appreciate the fact that my job is always changing, always evolving. Every day is different, and it is a constant adventure.”

Jon is a graduate of Hempfield High School and the Allegheny Valley Institute of Technology, where he earned A+ and Network+ certifications.


Network Consultant

Brandon is a Network Consultant with Norman Alan.

Working with us since 2011, Brandon troubleshoots networking and technology issues.

His experience includes all Windows Operating Systems, a variety of networking equipment, wireless equipment, servers, cell phones, and a broad range of software. Brandon spends a lot of his time in the field, but does remote support as well.

Customers rely on Brandon to solve issues that require a hands-on approach. He also installs new computers, servers, and networking equipment, making sure that our recommended solutions run at optimal performance and remain stable and reliable for the customer.

Brandon attended Derry High School. Graduating from Pittsburgh Technical Institute in 2007, Brandon has an Associates Degree in Computer Science - Network Administration. He has his Network+ Certification and is working on his Windows MCSE Certifications.

Married since 2013, Brandon and his wife have 4 children, with the newest arrival in November of 2017. Brandon loves to play dek hockey and go fishing. He coaches some local youth dek hockey teams and baseball teams.


Remote Support Technician

Mike is one of our Remote Support Technicians.

Assisting our customers since 2012, Mike provides remote support services and prides himself in finding the most effective way to complete a task.

Mike is skilled with all Windows platforms and the many applications that run on them. He has a detailed knowledge of various networking and security related products.

With over 15 years’ experience working for both large and small IT companies, Mike has the expertise to get our customers back up and running as quickly as possible.

Mike describes his training and education in the IT field as “15 years in the school of hard knocks.”


Secretary/Administrative Assistant

Bev is our Secretary/Administrative Assistant.

With Norman Alan since 2014, Bev answers the phones and connects customers with the appropriate technician or service. She also keeps our files in great shape and processes work orders.

Bev is an excellent typist and has good phone etiquette, always demonstrating a pleasant and helpful attitude. Customers rely on Bev to connect them to evaluate their needs and connect them with the right service.

“I’ve worked in a variety of customer service scenarios, and I can say I love interacting with our customers.”

After graduating High School, Bev entered the Air Force and found herself doing a job very similar to her work with Norman Alan.

Bev has been married for 24 years, loves crafts and the Pittsburgh Steelers.


Remote Support Technician

Ben is one of our Remote Support Technicians.

Joining Norman Alan in 2017, Ben provides both remote support and in-house support. He handles remote support calls for our many customers and always works to provide solutions in the best response time possible.

Customers rely on Ben for quick responses and fast escalations when the trouble needs immediate attention from senior technicians.

“I love talking with customers and building new relationships, as well as the variety of work that we enjoy doing here at Norman Alan.”

Ben is a graduate for the YTI Career Institute with an A+ Certification.

He has two daughters and provides volunteer IT work for church and camp.


Remote Support Technician

Scott is one of our Remote Support Technicians.

On the job with Norman Alan since 2017, Scott provides remote support services for our customers.

Scott has over 13 years’ experience providing IT support to a variety of educational, corporate, and small business environments.

Field Service & Remote Support Technician

Calvin is one of our Field Service & Remote Support Technicians

Joining Norman Alan in 2017, Calvin works with our customers in the field, troubleshooting computers and systems to keep them up and running smoothly.

Customers rely on Calvin when there’s no substitute for being on-site and hands-on to really understand and resolve a problem to the customer’s satisfaction.

“The thing I enjoy most about my job is that I get to interact personally with our customers and work with them to resolve their problems.”

Calvin has been working with computers as long as he can remember, teaching himself the basics before going on to achieve certifications in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+.

Calvin loves dogs and is an Eagle Scout.


Field Service & Remote Support Technician

Rob is one of our Field Service & Remote Support Technicians

Joining Norman Alan in 2018, Rob works with our customers in the field, troubleshooting computers and systems to keep them up and running smoothly.

Jesse is one of our Remote Support Technicians.

On the job with Norman Alan since 2018, Jesse provides remote support services for our customers.

Jesse enjoys the satisfaction of solving issues and helping others.

He attended Saint Vincent University where he acquired a bachelor’s degree in Computing and Information Science.


Account Executive

Glenn is an Account Executive at Norman Alan

Joining Norman Alan in 2017, Glenn works in sales, handling Network/IT system contracts, PC hardware, and Solution sales. He is our customer satisfaction liaison for both new and existing customers.

Glenn has 32 years’ experience in the office equipment industry, where he spent 25 years as a Service Manager. He is well versed in networking various devices to customer networks and he works with customers to find the best solution for their company.

Customers rely on Glenn for his knowledge and work ethic, knowing that they will be well taken care of.

“I enjoy working with our customers and checking back to make sure everything is solved. I like to share my determination to succeed and assure my customers that the work will be done correctly.”

Glenn went to Hempfield Area Senior High and graduated from Central Westmoreland Vo-Tech in carpentry. He has an Associates in Science Electronics from the Greensburg Institute of Technology and has studied Computer Science at Westmoreland County Community College.

Glenn is married to his wife Rebecca and together they volunteer their time to several local organizations and charities. He is a church trustee and enjoys boating, outdoor activities, and projects around the house.
