Candidates must be customer oriented and be able to respond to technical service requests at business locations in the Pittsburgh area as well as performing remote helpdesk support from our office. Candidates must have hardware experience to support a variety of vendor desktop, server and networking devices. These are full time salary positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
  • Install and optimize hardware/software/networking products and configurations at customer sites.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.
  • Takes responsibility for potential or desired follow-up services or problem escalation and maintains a functional understanding of company service solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements

  • 4 or more years of experience in a field service support role.
  • Troubleshooting knowledge of Windows Operating systems and Office applications as well as IT processes and procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues.
  • Understanding of Microsoft desktop, server and office applications.
  • Networking & TCP/IP knowledge including internet connectivity.
  • Email connectivity and configuration knowledge including Exchange Server.

  • Must be able to work after hours and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to take ownership of problems and see through resolution
  • Ideal candidate should be interested in constantly improving their skills and have strong desire to perform high-end operation like installing servers including migrations from old servers to new servers.
